Illustrator and Layout artist

​    Hello! My name is Marta Grabkowski and I'm an Illustrator and Layout Artist. I have been interested in art for as long as I can remember. I love being able to create stories, through my art. Each piece I create tends to always have a history. Although it may not start that way, eventually it becomes impossible for me to not include some story to make it interesting. Funnily enough, when I was younger I never thought I would be able to be an artist, I tried to focus more on Science and so I didn't begin seriously practicing until high school. It was at that time that I became inspired to attempt heading into the animation industry. I applied for college and attended the Animation Digital Production program at Durham College. Although during this time I learned that animation was not for me, I did discover an art form that blew my mind; the art of layout. After graduating I decided to improve my skills by attending the Illustration and Concept art program at Algonquin College. While there I discovered many possible ways to branch out my art career which I found very exciting. I am looking forward to seeing where the future will take me.
